Dematic Group completes acquisition of HK Systems
Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Dematic Group has completed the acquisition of New Berlin-based HK Systems.
The newly combined company will be called Dematic with its North American headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dematic is a supplier of integrated material handling solutions and services. HK Systems is an automated material handling and software solutions provider.
John K. Baysore, Chief Executive Officer, Dematic North America, will be responsible for leading and developing the newly combined company in the United States and Canada.
"The combined company will provide enhanced material flow solutions to improve our customers’ supply chain performance while increasing their service levels and profitability,” Baysore said. “Our goal is to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions for diversified vertical markets from manufacturing to distribution. In addition, the acquisition combines two powerful customer service infrastructures to deliver the industry’s most responsive and dependable integrated material handling systems support."
