Godfrey & Kahn shareholder Christine Liu McLaughlin has been recognized as “Woman of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), according to an announcement from the law firm Tuesday.

She received the honor for her dedication to her career and her exceptional performance. McLaughlin serves in Godfrey & Kahn’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice Group in its Milwaukee office and also heads the Women’s Leadership Forum and Diversity Committee at the firm. Her legal services focus largely on employment and labor issues, such as understanding and applying federal and state employment laws and settling employee transitions in business deals.

The NAPW, which awarded McLaughlin a membership for her excellence, is a network that cultivates conversation and exchange of ideas among professional women to help them develop valuable business and social relationships.
