Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp. has completed its previously announced acquisition of the assets of St. Louis-based theater company Wehrenberg Theatres for an undisclosed price.
Wehrenberg’s 14 theaters with 197 screens will be integrated into The Marcus Corp.’s Marcus Theatres division. The Wehrenberg theaters are located in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and Iowa.
Marcus also has acquired the underlying real estate for six of the theaters and Ronnie’s Plaza retail center in St. Louis.
