Gaco Western has named Dan Nelson its vice president of research and development. Nelson will work from the company’s 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Waukesha.

Nelson has worked previously with James Hardie Building Products, Diamond Vogel Corp., Eastman Chemical Company, and SC Johnson Polymer.
Michael Laszkiewicz, Rockwell Automation‘s vice president and general manager of the company’s Power Control Business, has been named to the 2010 Manufacturing Council by Gary Locke, U.S. Commerce Secretary.
Laszkiewicz said the council’s work comes at a critical moment for American manufacturers.
