Manufacturing continues to grow

Milwaukee’s seasonally adjusted Production Manufacturing Index was 57 in November, up from 55 in October. A PMI over 50 indicates industry growth.
The Institute for Supply Management-Milwaukee, which conducted the manufacturer survey, also highlighted the following respondent comments: “Customers are shortening lead times—suppliers are lengthening them,” “Thailand flooding adversely affected… engines production,” “global uncertainty is an issue.”
