ManpowerGroup and Johnson Controls win investor awards

Milwaukee-based ManpowerGroup and Glendale-based Johnson Controls Inc. are among 145 companies to be named among America’s Most Honored Companies by Institutional Investor magazine.

The companies were recognized for their corporate leadership and investor relations expertise by buy-side and sell-side analysts.

A total of 1,928 U.S. companies received votes from more than 2,700 analysts in Institutional Investor’s All-America Executive Team survey. Of those, 390 received a first, second or third-place ranking in one or more of the four executive categories — Best CEO, Best CFO, Best Investor Relations Professionals and Best Investor Relations Programs — and 145 were named America’s Most Honored Companies for receiving a total of three or more ranked positions across multiple leadership categories.

“The Institutional Investor ranking is recognition of ManpowerGroup’s position as the number one global provider of innovative workforce solutions,” said Jeffrey Joerres, ManpowerGroup chairman and chief executive officer. “It is also great testament to the efforts of all our colleagues around the world every day, who deliver the high-impact solutions and services our clients need to power their business success.”

America’s Most Honored Companies will be honored at a dinner and ceremony on March 6 at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. To view the list of top companies, click here.
