The managers of Milwaukee-based Morgan Dempsey Capital Management LLC have completed their purchase of the company from Tom Dempsey, founder and managing director of the firm.
Marc Dion, CFA, has been joined by Brian Rafn, portfolio manager of small/micro cap value and David Durham, director of sales and marketing, as owners of the firm.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Morgan Dempsey is an investment management firm focused on style specific investment strategies of high net worth individuals and institutional investors.
Dempsey will remain as managing director of the firm and will focus on client service and growth efforts.
