MADISON – Dells Paul Bunyan owners say they’re honoring heritage, and was no intent to confuse

    The family that owns Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty and Paul Bunyan’s Northwoods Lumberjack Show in Wisconsin Dells said Thursday that it didn’t intend to cause anyone to confuse its show with a Florida-based traveling lumberjack show that also uses the Paul Bunyan name.

    The business was sued Monday in U.S. District Court in Madison by the operators of the Florida show, who claim that by using the Paul Bunyan name, the Wisconsin Dells show violates the registered service mark of the Florida show, called the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.
