The long-debated hotel project for the former Pahl Tire Co. site near the State Capitol finally is under construction. Developer North Central Group of Middleton held a groundbreaking ceremony on Aug. 26 for the AC Hotel Madison, a 10-story Marriott property at 1 N. Webster St., one block from the Capitol Square.
