M.U. Student Apartments

The Opus Group plans to build a six-story, 80-unit student apartment building at 1400 W. Wells St., adjacent to the Marquette University campus in Milwaukee. The 80 apartments would have a total of 165 bedrooms. The building would also have 8,126 square feet of first floor retail space. The building would be constructed northwest of North 14th Street and West Wells Street. The existing building on the 0.4-acre site, which includes a Subway restaurant and the Kampus Foods store, would be demolished. Korb Tredo Architects is the designer for the project.
