The Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation announced that Gov. Scott Walker has appointed Lynn Sprangers, president and CEO of the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center for the Arts, to the Center’s Board of Directors.

She is expected to serve throughout the life of the arena, which is scheduled to close when the new Milwaukee Bucks arena opens its doors in 2018.

“Lynn Sprangers is an extraordinary leader with deep roots and strong relationships in this community, and her talent and dedication will be assets as we embark upon the BMO Harris Bradley Center’s final and very special chapters of service,” said Ted Kellner, board president. “Lynn shares our commitment to preserving Jane Bradley Pettit’s memory and her generous gift to the State of Wisconsin, and we welcome her to the board.”

Sprangers has been part of the metro Milwaukee community since 1983 and spent nearly 20 years in broadcast journalism. She served as director of communications in the Office of the Milwaukee County Executive from 1994 to 2000, then spent the next 10 years in various executive roles with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club.
