Ludman Machine Company announced it is changing its name and is moving its headquarters from Muskego to a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milwaukee at 4810 N. 124th St.
The company’s new name is Ludman Industries.
The name change is due to the significant expansion of its global business activities which includes design, testing and manufacturing of high-quality compactors, granulators and flaking and shredding mills.
“Currently there is an explosive growth in the mining industry and our new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help us continue to grow and evolve to keep pace with our client’s needs, allowing us to provide exceptional value and the superior machinery we are known for,” said Jim Lenahan, president and chief executive officer of the firm.
Ludman Industries also announced the installation of its new KBN135C Hyundai Heavy Duty Boring Machine, the first machine of its type to be installed in the United States. The new boring machine will provide Ludman Industries with increased machining capacity, greater throughput and superior efficiencies in its own manufacturing process, thereby offering a better quality product for its clients.
