Lucille’s Piano Bar & Grill closing after this weekend

Bar located near new Milwaukee Bucks entertainment district

Lucille’s Piano Bar & Grill on Old World Third Street in downtown Milwaukee will close after this weekend.

The bar, 1110 N. Old World Third St., posted the news on its Facebook page today.

“You heard it right everyone, we will be open for one last weekend. We want all of you to know past and present, that this Friday and Saturday is for you,”  according to the post.

Representatives from Lucille’s could not be reached for comment.

The 7,235-square-foot restaurant and bar is located on the first floor of the Riverfront Plaza near the new Milwaukee Bucks arena and entertainment district that is currently under construction.

The building sold to Andover Portland Avenue Associates LLC, an investor group from Maine, in November for $7.5 million. It also includes Ale Asylum Riverhouse.
