LS Research expands Cedarburg facility

LS Research LLC has completed a 5,500-square-foot addition to its Cedarburg headquarters.

The company, which completes product development for wireless technology, now has a 5-meter electromagnetic compatibility testing chamber and a new prototyping lab.

LSR has been offering EMC testing and certification services since 1996. The new chamber, which is registered with the Federal Communication Commission and Industry Canada, allows for additional capacity for testing antennae. It is also larger than LSR’s other chambers, so the company can test larger products.

The prototyping lab will be used to offer customers on-site rapid prototyping, CNC machining and casting. LSR can now offer the entire product concept and design process for wireless products in house.

“Our continued growth as a company is made possible through the success of our valued customers,” said Bill Steinike, president of LSR. “Our investment in the areas of EMC certification and testing, as well as our product design lab, ensures we will offer even higher levels of value, expertise and capabilities to our customers moving forward.”

LSR also has facilities in Hudson, Madison and Arlington Heights, Ill.
