Lori Mendelsohn, of Racine, former founder and owner of Wisconsin Pet Care LLC is developing a new brand called SWAGGER.
SWAGGER is a fashion concierge service aimed at professional men. Mendelsohn will take an inventory of what the client has, what his personal style can become, and shop for or suggest his future look.
“The only thing that people cannot make more of is time, so I’ll be providing a shopping and styling service so they can spend time on other more important things,” she said.
Mendelsohn’s background includes 33 years as a professional fashion designer in Los Angeles and New York. She developed a high end brand of men’s loungewear named Bedside Manner which was sold to Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. She also worked in Hollywood, and outfitted stars such as Bill Bixby, and Lou Ferrigno. She believes that with her innate sense of style, fashion background and business experience, the brand will quickly scale and move throughout the United States.
