Blumer is the first woman to serve in that role permanently, WRTP announced on social media yesterday. She has more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Before taking the helm of WRTP in January, Blumer served as entrepreneurial mindset co-op project manager for Marquette University. In that role, she led efforts in the Opus College of Engineering for the incorporation of the entrepreneurial mindset in the co-op program. She previously worked at Ripon College, serving various roles including assistant dean of career and professional development. Blumer replaces Mark Kessenich, who left WRTP last summer to become the new CEO of the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee.
