Law firm to move to former Pabst brewery complex

Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen S.C. will move its Milwaukee office from the City Center at 735 building at 735 N. Water St. downtown to the Pabst Boiler House building in the former Pabst brewery complex.

The firm recently leased the 13,629-square-foot top floor space of the 124-year-old, three-story building at 1243 N. 10th St. The space is currently occupied by Colliers International|Wisconsin, which will move to the 17-story office building under construction at 833 East Michigan St. Lyle Landowski and Matt Fahey brokered the lease for the building’s owner, PBH Redevelopment LLC.

The firm will move to the former Pabst brewery complex when the 833 East building is complete next year and Colliers vacates its space.

Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen S.C. traces its origins back to 1881. In addition to downtown Milwaukee, the firm has offices in Madison and Oakdale, Minn. The firm has 22 employees, including 17 attorneys, in its Milwaukee office.
