Kohl’s Department Stores Inc. has submitted plansto the Village of Menomonee Falls to expand the parking lot at its corporate headquarters at N56 W17000 Ridgewood Dr. in the Silver Spring Corporate Park.
Kohl’s plans to add 313 parking spaces to its campus, which currently has 3,112 parking stall. Most of the new stalls will be added in double loaded row at the perimeter of the existing eastern lot along Ridgewood Drive. The existing eastern parking bay will also be resurfaced as part of the project.
A parking lot expansion project that the company planned in 2007 was only partially completed.
Eventually Kohl’s plans to build a new corporate headquarters in the Woodland Prime office park in Menomonee Falls. Kohl’s needs a new corporate headquarters because it is bursting at the seams at its existing headquarters, located in a 885,000-square-foot complex just off Silver Spring Drive.
