Kohler unveils new light commercial generator

Kohler Generators has added a 60kW light commercial standby generator, the Kohler 60RCL, to its product line.

The generator, designed to be used in businesses and large homes during power outages, produces a low level of sound because of an innovative design that uses three fans and an automotive-style cooling system. It also has a smaller footprint than some other models.

The low level of noise and small size make the 60RCL ideal for financial institution branches, restaurants, pharmacies, convenience stores or retail centers.

“There is a lot of pent-up demand for these units, given their smaller size and quiet sound levels,” said Barry Segal, president of Kohler dealer MTS Power Systems. “They are also aesthetically pleasing, especially for residential applications. They are a nice addition to Kohler’s lineup of standby generators.”
