Home Industries Kohler restaurant reopens

Kohler restaurant reopens

The Horse & Plow Pub at The American Club resort in Kohler is reopening with a new look and a refreshed menu.

The historic tap room has been closed for two months while the team worked to have renovations complete for the spring season.

The Horse & Plow features an adjusted layout – with more separation between the bar and restaurant areas – as well as a new lower-level lounge with cozy furniture, televisions and a new fireplace. The bar has been expanded to accommodate more guests, as well as more draft beer lines.

“The updates have created a fun and energized new look,” said Loren Rue, chef and restaurant manager of the Horse & Plow. “The mood speaks to the history of the venue — as a place for friendship and camaraderie — but with a fresh atmosphere, food and drink.”

The Horse & Plow is one of 11 restaurants at The American Club resort. The pub will celebrate its reopening on Saturday, April 6, with food and drink specials.
