Another sign of an early spring came today, when Kohler Co. announced that The American Club Resort has opened the 2012 golf season at Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits.
Tee times for the Blackwolf Run Meadow Valleys and Whistling Straits Irish courses are available, and both golf shops will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, the award-winning Kohler Golf Academy has relocated to Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits for the golf season.
Blackwolf Run recently went under a major maintenance project in preparation for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open, July 2-8. The Blackwolf Run golf courses will be closed to the public from June 29 through July 10 to host the U.S. Women’s Open. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.2012uswomensopen.com.
The River course at Blackwolf Run and the Straits course at Whistling Straits are scheduled to open Friday, April 20.
