What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of?
"I exercise five days a week. Each workout consists of approx. 40 minutes aerobic activity and another 30-40 minutes of strength conditioning. I swim, bike, run, lift, play hockey and tennis."

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
"Better job performance, more confidence, the ability to participate in more activities including sports with my kids."

How does personal fitness affect your work life?
"More stamina, sharper thinking, more energy, more ambition."

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?
"Yes."

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
"We’re in a highly conceptual, creative business. It’s been our experience that the fitter the employee, the better the mental capacity. That translates into better solutions for our clients. Plus, employees are happier when they’re fit which makes for a better workplace environment."

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
"Look into a plan that will make the most sense for the employees from a cost and convenience standpoint. Allow them time during the workday to exercise. Help ease the financial part of the equation by picking up some of the costs. Plan activities that allow employees to use their fitness – outings like kayaking or hiking or cycling."
