Key Waukesha County projects

•    Brookfield Square – Several changes are in the works, including new restaurants, to keep the mall competitive.

•    Pabst Farms – A $1 billion, 1,500-acre residential, retail, industrial, medical and office development at Highway 67 and I-94 in Oconomowoc and the Town of Summit.

•    The Marcus Corp. – A 17-screen cineplex is under construction at the corner of Springdale Road and Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield. The new cinema will replace West Point Cinemas in the Town of Brookfield and Westown Cinema in the City of Waukesha.

•    Delafield lifestyle center – Robert Lang, the owner of Delafield-based The Lang Cos., and Indianapolis-based Lauth Property Group want to build a $200 million lifestyle center with stores, restaurants, office space and residences on a 60 acre property at I-94 and Highway C.

•    Menards – Eau Claire-based Menard Inc. plans to build a new Menard’s store at the southwest corner of Highway JJ and Kossow Road in Waukesha. Menard plans to close its store on Blue Mound Road, east of Barker Road, in the Town of Brookfield, and move to the new location. The current store will be sold.

•    Outdoor gear store – Gander Mountain plans to build a store on the current site of Westown Cinema.
