Katt launches development company

Dan Katt recently left his job as project development director for Milwaukee-based Eppstein Uhen Architects to launch his own development company, Craft Development.

“There are two primary reasons I feel motivated to do this, my desire to make a difference in the Milwaukee area, and an entrepreneurial passion that I need to act on,” Katt said.

Craft Development will primarily focus on urban redevelopment and adaptive reuse projects in the city of Milwaukee, Katt said.

Katt worked for Eppstein Uhen for about a year and a half. Prior to that he was a business development manager for construction firm J.H. Findorff & Son Inc., where he worked from 2004-07 as a project engineer and then from 2007-12 in business development.
