“Developing a succession plan for our company.”

What’s new at your company?

“We celebrated our 25th anniversary this year, which is a great milestone for us. Our employees are the best in the industry. Without them, none of this would have been possible. We truly have a great staff. In addition, our company is going through a complete renovation of our interiors, with new office furniture, meeting rooms and common areas. We also recently opened a branch office in Chicago to better serve our clients in this region.”

Do you plan to hire any additional staff or make any significant capital investments in your company in the next year?

“Yes, we plan to hire additional staff in the next year as part of our growth plans. Additionally, we have made recent significant capital investments with the purchase of GPS Rovers and Robotic Total Stations. We plan on future investments for the next year that includes GPS Base Stations.”

What will be your company’s main  challenges in the next year?

“Maintaining profitability and adding qualified staff to help us continue with our future growth plans.”

What’s the hottest trend in your industry?

“Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is the hottest trend in our industry. GIS is defined as a collection of computer, hardware, software and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. GIS involves data collection, data manipulation, needs assessment, application development, as well as services hosting and training to improve the efficiency of an organization and return value to the community by bringing better information faster. The result is a better map, a more accurate report, longer-lasting infrastructure and truly accessible information.”

Do you have a business mantra?

“We listen. We innovate. We turn your vision into reality.”

From a business standpoint, who do you look up to?

“I look up to Warren Buffet, because of his work ethic and integrity. He’s a straight shooter and true to his word. I also admire his generosity and good will. Giving back to the community is very admirable. He’s just a very polished professional that’s worked hard and has been tremendously successful. I think he’s really a remarkable person.”

What was the best advice you ever received?

“Treat people the way you want to be treated is the best advice I ever received.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“In my free time, I enjoy golfing, reading and the theatre.
