*Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11, America’s largest operating model railroad show known as Trainfest will take over the Wisconsin Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave. in West Allis. The event, hosted by Sendik’s Food Markets, will feature 60 model railroads, product displays from more than 100 manufacturers and hobby dealers, displays by 10 historical societies, a concert series for kids, train giveaways and more. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $12 for adults age 12 and older, $2 for kids ages 4 to 12, and free for kids ages 3 and under. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee, for sampling. The event will also include demonstrations from chefs, vintners, mixologists and craft brewers as well as seminars, a chili cook-off and more.
