*Saturday, Nov. 10, Historic Milwaukee, Inc. will present the “Skywaukee” tour, guiding participants through Milwaukee’s skywalk system with a focus on the city’s early history. The tour runs every Saturday at 1 p.m. through Dec. 15. Participants should meet at the T.J. Maxx entrance in the Shops of Grand Avenue building, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee. The tour is free for members of Historic Milwaukee, Inc., $10 for nonmembers, $2 for visitors age 17 and under, and free for kids under 6 years old. *Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11, America’s largest operating model railroad show known as Trainfest will take over the Wisconsin Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave. in West Allis. The event, hosted by Sendik’s Food Markets, will feature 60 model railroads, product displays from more than 100 manufacturers and hobby dealers, displays by 10 historical societies, a concert series for kids, train giveaways and more. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $12 for adults age 12 and older, $2 for kids ages 4 to 12, and free for kids ages 3 and under. *Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11, the Harley-Davidson Museum will host its annual Veterans Celebration Weekend in honor of Veterans Day. The celebration will include free museum admission for military personnel, veterans and their family members; a ceremony to honor veterans with St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy Program; a drill team performance by St. John’s Northwestern Military drill team; an appearance by Glory the Bald Eagle from the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center; and a flag signing for military personnel currently on duty overseas. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee, for sampling. The event will also include demonstrations from chefs, vintners, mixologists and craft brewers as well as seminars, a chili cook-off and more. Tickets for the main event cost $45 in advance, $55 at the door or $75 for a weekend pass. Tickets can be purchased in advance online through noon on Friday, Nov. 9. Critic’s Choice tickets are also available with additional food and beverage sampling options. Attendees must be at least 21 years old.
