*Saturday, Sept. 7, the third annual Pain Awareness Run/Walk will be held at Greenfield Park in West Allis to benefit the American Chronic Pain Association and recognize September as Pain Awareness Month. The event offers participants both 5K and 3K options. 5K runners and walkers will take off at 9 a.m. with 3K walkers beginning at 9:05 a.m. The event will also feature a post-run picnic and 10 a.m. and an awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m. The run is chip-timed and will give a $250 cash prize to the male and female 5K runners who achieve the best time.
