What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?

MWF-weight training

T TH SAT  Aerobic…walking, treadmill, nordic trac, Boxing workout.Bicycle in Summer.

What fitness clubs do you belong to, if any?

None, workout at home. Firm has a fully equipped gym as well.

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?

I have four children and I am able to participate in activities with them and not tire or tell them that I cannot keep up with them…usually they tell me they cannot keep up with me!

How does personal fitness affect your work life?

Much more alert during the day, able to accomplish more due to more energy and stamina. No need for coffee to stay awake.  Able to handle the stress of a litigation practice much better. Productivity is much higher.

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?

Yes

What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?

My practice is in the health care field, therefore, I am in contact with many health/wellness organizations.

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?

Members of the organization are aware of the benefits of fitness by the example of many of our senior partners. Younger attorneys and staff are motivated to action as a result of the positive role models in the firm.

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?

Lead by example… the way one lives their life is the best sermon preached!
