Joel Potter

Waukesha State Bank, a full-service community bank with 13 locations in Waukesha County, has hired Joel Potter as bank manager of its Sussex office.

“We are excited to welcome Joel to the Waukesha State Bank retail banking team,” stated Devon Arnold, Waukesha State Bank vice president and retail banking manager. “His background and experience, coupled with a passion for customer service, positions him well to lead our Sussex office and continue the very positive connection we have with our customers and the community.”

Joel comes to Waukesha State Bank from Bank Mutual where he was assistant vice president – bank office manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and has more than 16 years of retail banking experience, which includes sales, management, customer service and training. In his new position as bank manager, Joel will be responsible for all aspects of daily Sussex office operations, including business development, personnel management, customer service, lending, relationship management and community service.

Joel has a strong commitment to the community currently serving as treasurer/finance committee chair at Tamarack Waldorf School and on the finance committee for Southbrook Church.
