Kenosha-based Jockey International Inc. is now the naming rights sponsor of Fiserv Forum’s mezzanine-level event space, the Milwaukee Bucks announced Tuesday.
The 6,500-square-foot premium space, which has been renamed as the Jockey Club, is located on the arena’s east side overlooking the atrium and main entrance.
It is used for all Bucks and Marquette University men’s basketball games as well as concerts and shows, and can be rented for private and corporate events. The club can seat up to 125 people.
“As an international brand with its roots in Wisconsin, Jockey is the perfect partner for this space,” said Bucks president Peter Feigin.
Feigin said he hopes the space attracts even more people during the upcoming season starting Oct. 24, with the Bucks’ home opener scheduled for Oct. 26.
“Jockey is proud to expand on its partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum by becoming the presenter of the Jockey Club,” said Mark Fedyk, president and COO at Jockey. “In its 143-year history, Jockey has consistently played in sports marketing, from Babe Ruth to Jim Palmer and Tim Tebow to Bubba Watson. This partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks is a great ‘fit’ for two dynamic Wisconsin-based organizations.”
As part of the partnership, Jockey will also continue its Everyday Heroes salute during select Bucks home games this season. The salute recognizes “those in the community that have gone above and beyond the call of duty” as active military personnel or veterans, teachers, coaches, first responders and others that have bettered the community.
