Nippon Sharyo USA is gearing up to start making train cars near Rockford.
The company has hired about 50 workers, mostly people who will manage and supervise a new factory that’s nearing completion in Rochelle. And it’s hiring 100 assembly-line workers as it launches its first manufacturing plant outside Japan.
