Jackie Harcourt

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) recently named Jackie Harcourt as the organization’s new vice president of fundraising.

In this role, Harcourt will oversee and execute all fundraising efforts and donor relations. Harcourt will work with LSS, engaging partners and donors while championing key initiatives and programming. As LSS works to fulfill its vision of healthy communities, the need for fundraising to support life-changing programs such as housing and foster care increases.

Harcourt has served as the director of development and strategic partnerships at the United Community Center (UCC) for 15 years, where she led plans and development efforts raising more than $25 million in gifts. Harcourt secured more than $9 million in multi-year partnership funding for workforce pipeline development, older adult services, pre-college programming, and education services in five years, as well as increased individual and major gifts from $20,000 to $700,000 from 2002 to 2018.

Harcourt graduated from Alverno College with a bachelor of arts in business management and professional communications. She began her career in nonprofits in Southeastern Wisconsin.

“It is with great excitement and hope that we welcome Jackie to our executive team,” says Héctor Colón, president and CEO of LSS. “We have made significant changes to our organizational structure to better connect and communicate with our donors and partners. With Jackie’s extensive experience in fundraising and strong connection to Milwaukee, we look forward to even stronger and more positive engagement with those who support our mission so passionately.”
