J.C. Penney to close Milwaukee catalog outlet store, eliminate 120 jobs

J.C. Penney Corp. Inc. notified the state Department of Workforce Development that it plans to close its catalog outlet store in Timmerman Plaza, located at 10332 W. Silver Spring Dr. in the city of Milwaukee.
The closure of the store means 120 people will lose their jobs. The store will close on Dec. 4.
A few of the employees may be offered jobs at other J.C. Penney locations, the company said. The employees are not represented by a union.
