Italian zinc die casting company will establish plant in Milwaukee

Bruschi buys northwest side building

An affiliate of an Italian zinc die casting company that announced plans for a U.S. facility has purchased a building on Milwaukee’s northwest side.

Bruschi USA Inc. purchased two parcels at the corner of North Granville Woods Road and West Bradley Road from JAS Investments Inc. for $1.1 million. The properties at 8050 N. Granville Woods Road and 6840 W. Bradley Road have a combined assessed value of $1,174,000, according to city records.

Founded in 1948, Bruschi S.p.A. is based in Milano, Italy. The company produces 60 million components and processes 4,000 tons of zinc alloy annually, according to its website.

Burschi announced in February 2018 that it would establish a plant in the U.S. The company said it would begin production in September with a facility near the Chicago area.

The Bruschi USA page on the company’s website now says the plant will be in the Milwaukee area and begin production in March.

State records list Roberto Marselli as the agent for Bruschi USA on the real estate transaction. Marselli is listed as CEO of Bruschi USA on the parent company’s website. He did not immediately respond to a LinkedIn message seeking additional comment on plans for the facility.

JAS Investments is registered to Kraig Goad, who is also the registered agent for Precision Fabricators & Engineering Inc. The company’s address is listed as 8050 N. Granville Woods Road in state records, but a phone number associated with the business has been disconnected.
