Industries for the Blind acquires Top Promotions

West Allis-based nonprofit Industries for the Blind Inc.-Milwaukee has acquired Middleton-based imprinted product provider Top Promotions.

IB Milwaukee offers a range of products and services, from manufacturing and fulfillment creative services and custom promotional products to office supplies, furniture, clothing and homecare items. It plans to add at least 25 new blind employment opportunities over the next several years.

“While we have many years of experience providing promotional products to government agencies and other private institutions, the new acquisition will allow for us to extend our promotional product sales to an even broader network of customers in corporate markets,” said Chuck Lange, president of IB Milwaukee. “We see tremendous value in Top Promotion’s strong brand recognition, management team and sales staff.”

Top Promotions, which makes screen printed, embroidered and promotional products, will retain its management and day-to-day operations.

“Our team is excited to be a part of an organization with such an honorable mission,” said Craig Reisdorf, former owner and now senior vice president of the Top Promotions division of IB-Milwaukee. “We have partnered with IB Milwaukee on the manufacturing of promotional products for twelve years now, and have established a great relationship with the company.”
