The NorthBrook Commerce Center will be located on the north side of Capitol Drive, near the intersection of Capitol Drive and Springdale Road, with space available for industrial users to break ground in spring 2017.

The project will include space for office, manufacturing or warehouses. The developers are hoping to alleviate the current need for industrial space in Waukesha county, where the current vacancy rate for available industrial real estate is 2.5 percent, according to Xceligent.

“One of the challenges of developing new space in a mature market like the community of Brookfield is the lack of developable land sites that are available,” said Todd Rizzo of Rizzo Development Group. “We are very excited to deliver much needed industrial space into a sub-market that possesses very high barriers to entry.”

Jeff Hoffman, of Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke, who will be leasing the property with Chad Vande Zande, said the location is ideal for a new business park.

“With access to a robust, highly skilled workforce and two interstates, the NorthBrook Commerce Center provides industrial occupiers with the amenities necessary to rapidly grow their business,” Hoffman said.
