iMET construction to begin

Gateway Technical College and the Racine County Economic Development Corporation will host a groundbreaking for the integrated Manufacturing & Engineering Technology center on Tuesday, July 10 at 8:30 a.m. at 2320 Renaissance Blvd. in Sturtevant.

Guest speakers include Tim Sullivan, special consultant for business and workforce development for the State of Wisconsin and Jim Ladwig, Racine County Executive. Refreshments will be served.
The Institute for Supply Management’s Milwaukee, Chicago and Madison chapters will host their 10th annual charity golf outing on Thursday, August 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Meadowbrook Country Club, 2149 N. Green Bay Road in Racine. The event will include 18 holes of golf, on-course contests, lunch, dinner, auction items and networking opportunities. Cost is $125 per golfer and $50 for banquet only.
