Hyatt CEO’s compensation up 9 percent

    Hyatt Hotels Corp. CEO Mark S. Hoplamazian’s compensation rose about 9 percent last year.

    Mr. Hoplamazian received a total of about $6.56 million in 2011, up from about $6.04 million the previous year, the Chicago-based company said in a filing today with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

    His base salary rose slightly, to about $985,000.
