Honor Roll of Prime Leasable Commercial Real Estate

To shed some light on the status of the commercial real estate market in southeastern Wisconsin, Small Business Times presents its fifth annual Honor Roll of Prime Leasable Commercial Real Estate.

Small Business Times asked southeastern Wisconsin’s top commercial real estate brokers, owners and developers to nominate several properties for consideration in the Honor Roll.

In the survey, the real estate executives were given the freedom to define "prime" as they saw fit. Some used location as the "prime" criteria, while others used amenities, the newness of construction or other features to identify their best site nominees.

The SBT editorial staff selected which of the nominated sites appear in this Honor Roll. Of course, any such list is subjective. However, SBT believes the Honor Roll represents a true collective sample of the best properties on the market.

The Honor Roll is divided into office, retail and industrial properties.

This year, the commercial real estate market is collectively described among real estate experts as a "tenant’s market."

In this Honor Roll, you will find some great spaces for offices, retail and industrial uses. Some are in the suburbs, some are in the outlying communities and some are right in downtown Milwaukee. The featured sites represent wide cross sections of locations, building styles and lease terms.

SBT presents this list with the hopes of helping southeastern Wisconsin’s growing companies find their best options when their current leases expire.
