Holtz named branch manager for Johnson Bank Mequon

Brian Holtz has been named assistant vice president-branch manager at Johnson Bank’s new office at 1555 West Mequon Road in Mequon.

Racine-based Johnson Financial Group plans to open the branch, its first in Ozaukee County, by year-end.

Holtz has 10 years of banking experience in Ozaukee County. He previously served as branch manager at BMO Harris Bank in Mequon.
Holtz is a native of Wauwatosa and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Nationwide Mortgage License.

“Area residents will soon have access to a broad range of financial services including banking, wealth and insurance,” said Peter Engel, executive vice president of consumer banking for Johnson Bank. “Our privately held status and local ownership provide our customers responsive assistance and helpful advice with a long term view that only a privately held company can deliver.”

The company currently has 40 branches, most of which are in Wisconsin. Five are in Arizona. This is the second north shore branch the bank has opened. The other is in Whitefish Bay.
