Hladio honored for leadership

Jayne Hladio, U.S. Bank Wisconsin regional manager for metropolitan banking in Milwaukee, has been honored by the Wisconsin Minority Supplier Development Council for her leadership in encouraging supplier diversity at the bank.

“Jayne deserves tremendous congratulations for this achievement, as she choose to demonstrate great initiative outside of her typical business line responsibilities to increase and engage both supplier diversity efforts and business-to-business promotion of minority and women-owned suppliers within U.S. Bank in Southeast Wisconsin,” said Floyd Rose, president of the WMSDC.

Hladio received a 2014 Star of Excellence Award for her commitment to addressing supplier diversity issues locally, as well as her mentorship of business line and community affair partners.

“U.S. Bank’s position of strength creates advantages for our shareholders, investors, customers, colleagues and importantly, our local community,” Hladio said. “Combined with the WMSDC, as corporate members with our National Minority Supplier Development Council and our Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, this kind of commendation comes at a time when we celebrate our 15th year of U.S. Bank’s Supplier Diversity Program. We are thankful for the partnerships that doing business with minority and women-owned businesses provides, which helps us better serve our customers and community.”
