Cambridge-based Jerman Properties LLC bought the building, located at 204 W. Main St., from Robert Sweet of Whitewater. The registered agent for Jerman Properties is Jason Jerman.

The 22,243-square-foot Landmark Building is located about half a mile east of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus. It has 18 residential units on its upper floors and a bar on the lower level.

In recent years the lower level has been occupied by Ground Zero Nite Club and Downstairs Sports Bar & Grill.

A listing for the property on LoopNet says $200,000 in improvements were done recently to the building, including a new boiler, masonry work and ledges.
