Health Care Heroes winners announced

Will be recognized in magazine special report

The annual BizTimes Media Health Care Heroes Awards salute the impact and accomplishments of people and organizations that are making a positive difference in the community on the front lines of health care.

BizTimes Milwaukee has selected the winners for its 2017 Health Care Heroes Awards.

The winners were selected from nominations submitted by readers. The judges included Heidi Mayer, executive director of the Lutheran Home Foundation; Phyllis King, associate vice chancellor of academic affairs for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Karen Ordinans, executive director of the Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin and BizTimes staff.

The winners of the 2017 Health Care Heroes Awards will be recognized in a special report in a December issue of BizTimes Milwaukee.

Andrew is the editor of BizTimes Milwaukee. He joined BizTimes in 2003, serving as managing editor and real estate reporter for 11 years. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, he is a lifelong resident of the state. He lives in Muskego with his wife, Seng, their son, Zach, and their dog, Hokey. He is an avid sports fan and is a member of the Muskego Athletic Association board of directors.
