*Wednesday, Dec. 3, Aurora Health Care will hold a free career open house and job fair at its Menomonee Falls Clinic. During the event, attendees will be able to tour the facility, have an initial interview screening and meet hiring managers. Attendees are advised to bring their resume. *Sunday, Dec. 7, the Partners of St. Joseph’s Hospital will present the 28th annual Love Light Ceremony at St. Joseph’s Hospital Garden Café, located at 3200 Pleasant Valley Road in West Bend, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The event, which is open to the community, will feature a holiday tree lighting, refreshments and live music performed by the West Bend High Schools Madrigal Singers. Donations of $5 can go toward the purchase of a white light for an individual who has passed away or a colored light for a loved one who is still living. Military personnel will also have an opportunity to have a star by their name on a special memory and honor board. Interested attendees can pick up a donation form at St. Joseph’s Hospital Well Wisher Gift Shop, Kathy Hospice, West Bend Health Center, St. Joseph’s Health Center and at www.froedtert.com. *Thursday, Dec. 18, HNI will hold a webinar titled “Chiropractors and Work Comp: Aligning Treatment and Expectations to Handle Claims Effectively.” The webinar, to be guided by Dr. Marc Gilerovich of The ALARIS Group, Inc., will cover the kinds of work comp situations that may include chiropractic care, advice on how employers can work with chiropractors, how employers can stay updated on employees’ treatment plans and how state law affects chiropractic services in work comp claims. The awards program features a range of award categories, including advancements in health care, corporate achievement in health care, community service, executive leadership, and health care staff. Award recipients, selected from a pool of nominations, were announced earlier this month. The event, sponsored by Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling, will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, located at 1721 W. Canal St. in Milwaukee.
