Hartland retail building sold for $4.55 million

Dallas-based P. O’B Montgomery & Company recently purchased the 54,693-square-foot Cottonwood Plaza Shopping Center at 505-17 Cottonwood Ave., Hartland, from Oconomowoc-based Bark River Properties for $4.55 million.
The shopping center is anchored by a Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
P. O’B Montgomery & Company specializes in the ownership, operation, acquisition, and development of neighborhood and community shopping centers. Since 1980, the company has owned and operated more than five million square feet of neighborhood and community shopping center properties throughout the U.S.
“This is a strong regional grocery-anchored center,” said P. O’B Montgomery president Phil Montgomery. “The acquisition of Cottonwood Plaza is an example of the P. O’B approach of the purchase of well-positioned grocery-anchored product in primary as well as secondary markets.”
Mid-America Real Estate will handle leasing for Cottonwood Plaza and Siegel-Gallagher will handle building management, P. O’B said.
