Hartford industrial building sold for $1 million

PolyFirst Packaging recently purchased a 40,000-square-foot industrial building at 1480 Independence Ave. in Hartford for $1.075 million.

PolyFirst’s headquarters is located nearby in a 50,000 to 55,000-square-foot building at 2261 Innovation Way. The Independence Avenue building will provide additional space for the company, which manufactures plastic film and bags.

The building was sold by Kendall-Hartcraft, a Huntsville, Ala.-based company that closed the facility about a year ago said NAI MLG Commercial senior vice president Curt Pitzen, who along with NAI MLG Commercial broker Brett Garceau, handled the sale for Kendall-Hartcraft.
