Groundbreaking Thursday for ESI HQ

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Thursday to celebrate the start of the new corporate headquarters for Environmental Systems Inc. (ESI).

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday to celebrate the start of construction of a Gateway West Sustainable I, which will be the new corporate headquarters for Environmental Systems Inc. (ESI). The building will be constructed at 3410 Gateway Road, near the corner of Capitol Drive and Gateway Road in the Gateway West Commerce Center. in Brookfield.

ESI will move its headquarters to the building from its current location in a 15,000-square-foot building at W223 N603 Saratoga Dr. in the City of Pewaukee.

ESI will lease space in the 34,108-square-foot building from Brookfield-based Hunzinger Construction Co., which is the developer and general contractor for the project. About 8,425 square feet of space in the building will be available for lease.

Hunzinger hopes to receive LEED certification for the building from the U.S. Green Building Council. The building was designed by Stephen Perry Smith.
