Great Skott, a merchandiser and distributor of premium nuts, dried fruit, snacks, candy and chocolates, opened a retail outlet store at 206 S. Curtis Road in West Allis.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The outlet store, located near Bluemound Road and 121st Street, features a variety of nuts, dried fruit, snacks, candy and chocolates at discounted prices and packaged in containers ranging from small gift bags to large party tubs, as well as gift boxes for the holidays.
Great Skott also offers unique food items not always available in the general marketplace, such as dehydrated shitake mushrooms, goji berries and mango. Many Great Skott items are also all-natural and low in sodium.
Great Skott, founded in Milwaukee in 1991, has a history of selling to distributors, wholesalers and specialty retailers on a local and national basis. A fund-raising and corporate gift division will be implemented after the first of the year.
