Great Lakes Distillery unveils label redesign

Milwaukee-based Great lakes Distillery has unveiled a label redesign of its core products, including Rehorst Vodka, Rehorst Citrus & Honey Vodka, Rehorst Gin, Roaring Dan’s Rum and Kinnickinnic Whiskey.

“After nine years we felt it was time to freshen up the product image,” said founder Guy Rehorst. “As I’ve traveled to new markets in the last year and a half I found a lot of people know about the products but didn’t realize Great Lakes Distillery made them.”

The new designs were created by Todd Wolff of The Design Engine.

Rehorst said Great Lakes Distillery now distributes to 23 states and a correlation between the brands and the distillery producing them needed to be strengthened.

The new design was unveiled at the distillery’s tasting room at 616 W. Virginia Street in Milwaukee on Thursday, Jan. 30. The new design will begin appearing in the distillery’s tasting room and on store shelves immediately.
