Grant Thornton closes Milwaukee office for day of service

Grant Thornton LLP closed its Milwaukee office on Thursday to allow for more than 60 employees to volunteer for area nonprofits as part of its “Make a Difference Day.”
“The environment and the well-being of our society is a central component of Grant Thornton’s mission of making a difference,” said Jeff Robinson, Wisconsin Practice Managing Partner. “Through our commitment to making a difference in everything we do, we aspire to be the best firm in the world and the best firm for the world.”
Grant Thornton had volunteer groups at four different locations throughout the city including   Thurston Woods Community Learning Center, Hopkins Elementary School, Juneau Park, and The Guest House on 12th Street.
